Wilmslow Park Tour
An easy start to the Blues, this route has a slightly hilly section as you go down and up from the River Bollin each way, passing through the most scenic part of the ride. The majority of roads are quiet residential roads through Wilmslow Park and the Summerfields estate, the route also includes a cycle path to avoid the traffic on Dean Row Road.

Airport Viewing Park Return Trip
This ride includes the hill from the airport tunnels up to the Honey Bee (along the cycle path). The route has the benefit of allowing you to enter the Airport Viewing Park for free, whereby you can stop at the café, see Concorde (and various other displays) and watch the planes take off and land.

Ashley and Mobberley Loop
This ride takes a left turn after the airport tunnels towards Ashley, where you’ll encounter the only hill of note on the ride - Mill Lane. The route then flattens out and you join the Cheshire Cycleway around the lanes of Mobberley, turning off down Noah’s Ark Lane (very rural) to return into Wilmslow.

Prestbury and Pott Shrigley Roller Coaster
A fairly hilly route! After heading out of Wilmslow, you climb through Mottram St. Andrew and Over Alderley to be treated to some of the best views over Cheshire as you ride along Slade Lane. The route then descends (quite quickly) into Prestbury before gently climbing up through Kerridge (following more of the Cheshire Cycleway) with a kick at the top by the Bull’s Head. You then face a sharp descent down Lord Street to head out up to Pott Shrigley reaching 750 feet above sea level. Brace yourself for a rapid descent down Brookledge Lane to Adlington; the route then levels out for the homeward stage back into Wilmslow.

Tatton Park Tour
A mostly flat route, the main hill of note being the A538 (cycle path) up to the Honey Bee. The highlight of the route is the ride through Tatton Park (a good opportunity to stop at the Stables café if you wish); also rewarded by a mile downhill alongside Tatton Wall. The majority of the route is on quiet lanes, however care is required navigating Knutsford town centre.

Cheshire Cycleway - Audax
This is an example of riding the majority of the Cheshire Cycleway in one day by combining a mix of Full Routes and Short Routes of the stages. The first stage starts from Wilmslow, misses the stop in Great Budworth, and continues on Stage 7 through to Manley Mere with a distance of 48km (30 miles). The second stage is shorter than the first at 35km (21.7 miles) and follows Stage 6 to Little Neston. The third stage is the toughest at 60km (37.5 miles) and includes Stage 5, with the Millennium Greenway whole length alternative, as well as the Short Route of Stage 4 all the way to Malpas. The fourth stage follows the whole of the Short Route of Stage 3 and continues onto Stage 2 as far as the village of Hough. The fifth and final stage continues along the Short Route of Stage 2 and then onto the Short Route of Stage 1 to return back into Wilmslow via Alderley Edge.
