This is an updated version of my original “Gravel Biking in The Peak District”, taking on board feedback to improve the maps and page layout - and the paperback is printed on higher quality paper. Please note that to follow these routes, you will need to load the routes onto a cycle computer (e.g. Garmin, Wahoo). The routes are fairly complicated and designed specifically for adventurous gravel biking. They are very hilly (it is the Peak District), tricky in places but they deliberately avoid the more technical MTB trails in the area - and they are much more challenging than riding the Monsal and High Peak Trails.

The Peak District is fabulous for gravel biking, with an amazing range of trails across stunning countryside with breathtaking views all the way. The one word that is the essence of the routes in this book is “adventure”. The routes cover the length and breadth of the national park, as illustrated below, and will take you high over the moors, through charming villages and into wonderful woodlands.

The routes range from 46km to 70km in distance and all with ample climbing! The terrain has been chosen specifically for gravel bikes (and can also be ridden on mountain bikes).

Each route contains detailed maps, elevation profiles and route narratives, together with a multitude of photographs and suggestions for café stops.
