Lyme Park & Kerridge Circuit
The first off-road section is up the Coppice to Higher Poynton and towards Pott Shrigley. The next off-road section, and first notable climb, is the West Gate entrance to Lyme Park. Once in Lyme Park, you follow the road towards the Lyme Hall and then pick up the route to the East Gate. The exit from Lyme Park leads to the Gritstone Trail up to Bowstones and over the top of the moor. The route then joins the Brickworks and the main road to descend the top section of Blaze Hill and onto Jumper Lane, followed by the off-road Oakenbank Lane. The final climb takes you round the side of White Nancy and on to Prestbury. The return section climbs to Over Alderley & treats you to a bumpy descent down Bradford Lane before returning to Wilmslow via Alderley Edge.

Macc Forest Mountain Bike Tour
A very challenging circular tour from Wilmslow to Macclesfield Forest, taking in many off-road paths and tracks. The first test is climbing up Bradford Lane to Over Alderley, soon followed by a similar style of path cutting through Kerridge. At Tegg’s Nose Country Park you face a rocky descent down Saddler’s Way. The route then passes Macc Forest Visitor Centre, climbs steeply up Standing Stone and takes the roller-coaster bridleway through the forest. An arduous climb then leads up the other side of the reservoir to reach over 1400’

above sea-level. After a challenging technical descent, you return to the road to climb over the A537, descend the 1in5 Ankers Knoll lane, climb “Deadman’s Hill” and part-descend Blaze Hill. After a final off-road cut-through along
Oakenbank Road you enter Bollington, scale the steep, cobbled Beeston Brow and complete the circuit via Pott Shrigley and Adlington.
