Cycling in the Peak District is fabulous and is even more enjoyable if there is a mid-ride café that offers great coffee (or tea!) and cake!

The Peak District has some of the best landscapes in the UK and also has a great network of quiet lanes enabling you to explore them away from busy traffic. This book has ten circular routes that are all around 48km (30 miles) long and have great cafes at both the start and halfway around.

As it is the Peak District, it’s not flat! So you need to have an appreciation of hills to enjoy the routes - but the routes do deliberately dodge the tougher climbs that lurk in this region.

The routes have all been tried and tested - and are all suitable for road bikes. Photographs and detailed route maps are included, and all the gpx files of the routes are available for free download for navigation purposes.
